A total of 38,799 cases of corona virus have been reported in Pakistan, killing 834 people

LAHORE: The global epidemic of coronavirus in Pakistan has not abated and the total number of people infected with the virus has risen to 38,799 while 834 people have died.

According to the details, the number of cases of coronavirus is increasing day by day across the country, with 1851 new cases coming to light once again during the last 24 hours. As the number of new cases has come to light, the number of tests across the country is also on the rise. 

In the last 24 hours, 14878 tests have been done while 359 thousand 264 people have been tested across the country so far. According to official figures, 31 people have been killed in the last 24 hours across the country, bringing the death toll to 834.

According to official figures, 10880 people have recovered so far across the country, followed by 27919 confirmed patients across the country. If we look at the phased report of other provinces including the federal capital, then at present the highest number of cases in the country is in Sindh where there are 14916 cases. Punjab is second with 14,201 patients, followed by Balochistan with 2,457, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 5,678, Islamabad with 921, Azad Kashmir with 108 and Gilgit-Baltistan with 518. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has the highest number of deaths in the country, where 291 people have lost their lives, 255 people in Sindh have gone to Khaliq Haqiqi, and 245 people in Punjab have died fighting the coronavirus.
According to the National Command and Operations Center, seven people have died in the federal capital, 31 in Balochistan, four in Gilgit-Baltistan, and one in Azad Kashmir.
