Astronomers say the moon will sink 13 minutes before sunset on Friday. Eid al-Fitr in Saudi Arabia will be on Sunday, May 24.

On the other hand, the Saudi Supreme Court has appealed to the people to observe the month of Shawwal on the 29th of Ramadan.

According to astronomical calculations, on the 29th of Ramadan in Saudi Arabia, the sun will set at 293 degrees at 6:39 pm, while the moon will disappear from the horizon at 6:26 pm, 13 minutes before sunset. On the 29th of Ramadan, the moon will set 10 minutes before sunset in Makkah.

On Saturday, the 30th of Ramadan, the sun will set at 6:40 a.m., while the moon will set at 7:23 p.m. Thus, on the evening of the 30th of Ramadan, the moon of Shawwal can be seen on the horizon for 43 minutes after sunset.
