Sindh Chief Minister Refuses To Collect Taxes For The Federation

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that now the Sindh government will not collect taxes for the federation.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah while making a big announcement said that the federation has given us the authority to collect taxes under the constitution but we will not collect taxes for the federation as we collected the tax and then the income tax is deducted from it without asking us.

“I have asked the excise minister to inform the federal government,” Sindh Chief Minister added.

The Sindh Chief Minister said that the problem of locusts is the second biggest problem. The National Action Plan on locusts has been prepared by the Sindh government. The aerial spray is the responsibility of the federation. The federation has left the provinces alone on the issue of locusts.

On the other hand, Federal Minister Faisal Vawda criticized Murad Ali Shah and said that irresponsible statement of Sindh Chief Minister was a wave of prejudice and Sindh government was not able to hide its face.

Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda has once again lashed out at the Sindh government, saying that the Sindh Chief Minister had made a very apolitical and undemocratic statement.

Faisal Vawda said that the irresponsible statement of Sindh Chief Minister is a wave of prejudice, he lost the election, lost in the Senate and the budget was passed.

Addressing the opposition parties, he said that the government would complete five years and the next prime minister would also be Imran Khan. Pakistan’s destiny is the success and only defeat of the opposition.

The Federal Minister for Water Resources further said that the Sindh government is talking childishly to cover up its corruption. They are terrified. Sindh is not someone’s personal property but a province of Pakistan.
